10 Reasons You SHOULD see Hancock
I’m going to start something new here at UI. I see movies semi-frequently and for a while I’ve been looking for a unique way to review those movies on the blog. I figured I’d do 10 reasons why you SHOULD or SHOULD NOT see whatever movie it is. They’ll be listed in least important to most (according to me). Hopefully it’ll be comical, and give you a basis for seeing or not seeing the movie. I guess I’ll see how this works. (And so, I don’t get a crap load of e-mails: Yes, I’m sure this has been done before, I don’t care and I certainly don’t need you to comment, or e-mail me and tell me it has.)
The first movie to receive a 10 reasons is Hancock.
Hancock stars Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman.
10 reasons you SHOULD see Hancock:
10.) You’ve already seen Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk so seeing this summer’s third super hero related flick is sort of required.
9.) Will Smith independence day flicks have become a part of your July 4th regimen.
8.) You’re not bothered by extensive use of “4 letter words.”
7.) Appendages being chopped off, and/or being placed in places they shouldn’t be placed sounds like something that might interest you.
6.) House, M.D. is one of your favorite shows.
5.) You, like me, could really care less about what people think about you, thus making it easy for you to relate to the main character.
4.) If in your opinion a little bit of action, mixed with comedy, and a twist you TOTALLY weren’t expecting, but are able to catch half-way through always makes for a great film.
3.) You can relate to being called an asshole, and how incredibly ticked off it makes you.
2.) You think that Charlize Theron has an amazing ability to play every roll she’s in amazingly.
1.) The critics told you the movie sucked.
I loved Hancock, of course I’m a huge fan of Will Smith anyway, but I’ve been reading nothing but terrible reviews since the movie debuted, and I’ve got to be honest. For the most part, the critics are completely wrong. Don’t take my word for it, Hancock is in theaters now, go check it out!
